Pension Office hosted a Family Evening in Sh. Funadhoo on August 30th, 2024, as part of the National Grandparents’ Day celebrations. The event aimed to provide families with a joyful evening centred around spending quality time with grandparents.

The event featured stalls from various institutions, each offering activities and information designed to engage both young and old. The activities at the pension office stall were designed to provide visitors with the opportunity to learn and obtain information on important topics in a joyful environment. Some of the activities included a photo station, pension quiz and a digital literacy relay.

This event was a collaborative effort between the Pension Office, the Ministry of Social and Family Development, the Local Government Authority, Sh. Atoll Council, and Sh. Funadhoo Council, reflecting a shared commitment towards celebrating older generations.
